Our team never stops working to make WooCommerce faster, stronger, and more secure. Here are some recent improvements and additions that can help your business grow.
Understand the true cost of each product sold
Cost of Goods Sold is now built into WooCommerce core!
By making this a native feature, we’ve ensured that all Woo stores can calculate the exact profit margin on every product and order — so you can track your financial performance and make data-driven decisions about pricing, marketing, and inventory.
A major upgrade for product promotions
We’ve introduced four new product collections to help you suggest the right products at the right time. With upsells, cross-sells, related products, and hand-picked recommendations now available, you can cross-promote in any context.

Sort it your way
New sorting options have been added to the Product Collection block, giving you comprehensive control over how you present products to customers.

Enable seamless brand management
WooCommerce Brands is now part of our core platform and available to use out of the box, no plugins required. Create dedicated pages for every brand you offer, add brand details to product pages, and help shoppers find them faster with brand-specific search.
Make a first impression
Wow customers from day zero with new Coming Soon templates. Whether it’s a major update, a new store launch, or a highly polished rebrand, keep customers engaged and excited to come back.

View it live
Don’t design blind; use the new live email preview feature to see styling changes, modernize your design, and build shopper trust with consistent theme styles and branding across the board.

Understand your revenue at a glance in WooCommerce Analytics
Dive into the details and see what’s really driving sales with advanced order attribution reporting in WooCommerce Analytics. These comprehensive reports show the last touch in the shopper’s journey, broken down by campaign, channel, source, and device — so you can make data-driven decisions to get the most from your marketing.
Save time and money with UPS on WooCommerce Shipping
You can now buy discounted UPS labels directly through your Woo dashboard with WooCommerce Shipping. Give customers more shipping options at affordable prices, backed by flexible, on-time delivery.
Mobile optimization
Building on the success of the original desktop-focused design, our team is now updating spacing, fonts, and other elements to drive more conversions on mobile. .
Skeleton loaders coming soon
It sounds spooky, but it’s not! A skeleton loader is a placeholder for information that’s still loading on a screen. For shoppers, they create a perception of a reduced wait time and indicate that something is in progress — bringing a more cohesive experience and better performance when elements of checkout need to be refreshed.
Autocomplete on its way
Address autocomplete will be offered on the Checkout block in the near future and come built into WooPayments. We’ll also make additional autocomplete capabilities available for other payment gateways to offer as a value-add, if they bundle it in with their service. Autocomplete is great for cart conversion — especially on mobile, where filling out information can be more difficult and time-consuming.
Additional updates
Stay tuned for improvements that will optimize the use of space and provide better font consistency throughout the checkout experience. Beyond these upgrades, we’ll work on enhancing support for more custom field types, adding a custom field block, and opening up access to the inner blocks for rich custom field placement.
