
German seller of furniture and home decorations Westwing has recently entered three new markets. It has launched in Croatia, Finland and Slovenia. The company is now present in 18 European countries.
Westwing is a high-end seller of furniture and home decorations, which was founded in Germany in 2011. In 2024, it reached a GMV of 497 million euros. It is one of the bigger sellers of furniture in ecommerce in Germany.
Westwing is an omnichannel seller, meaning that it has several online stores as well as offline locations. It recently opened a new store in Paris and it is planning to open another one in Munich in July.
6 markets in first half year
The company has now announced that it expanded into three new markets in the second quarter of this year. In the first quarter, it entered another three markets. The company is now present in a total op 18 European countries. With these latest expansions, it strengthens its position in Northern and Southeastern Europe.

According to Westwing, the new markets offer strong potential. They offer digitally engaged audiences, increasing demand for premium and accessible Home & Living solutions, with an affinity for timeless design.
5 to 10 new countries in 2025
“Westwing is advancing its goal of scaling with operating leverage by expanding its physical presence and making strong progress in geographical expansion, in line with its target of entering 5 to 10 new countries in 2025. These steps support the Company’s mission to inspire more people to create homes that unlock the full beauty of life”, the company said in a press release.
