
Arvato, a supply chain service provider from Germany, is opening a new logistics center in Instanbul. It is the company’s ninth warehouse in Turkey. The new location will offer omnichannel fulfillment services.
Arvato is a third-party logistics provider which develops supply chain management and ecommerce solutions for its clients. It has over 100 locations, but its headquarters are in Germany. In 2021, it begin the use of its AutoStore operations. At the time, it used the most robots in one location in Europe.
31,000 square meters
Now, the company is expanding its presence in Turkey. The new logistics center covers 31,000 square meters over two floors. According to the company, it offers great access to major logistics hubs and enables flexible, late cut-off times.
The new facility will offer omnichannel fulfillment services for B2B and B2C merchants. These services include warehousing, transport management, reverse logistics and other value-added services. In the first half of 2026, it will also start automation for the handling of cosmetics in an omnichannel environment.
‘Part of global growth strategy’
“This new site is part of our global growth strategy, which focuses on expanding alongside our international clients,” says Umur Özkal, Managing Director of Arvato in Türkiye & UAE. Due to limited warehouse availability in Istanbul, Arvato pursued a greenfield development – from investigating the land to real estate development and project execution.
