
Payment provider MultiSafepay recently announced that its transaction volume increased 44 percent year-on-year. According to the company, this is due to customer business growth. In addition, the amount of customers grew 11 percent.
This was announced by MultiSafepay in a press release. The Dutch payment provider launched in 1999 and is a well-known name in its domestic market, with offices in other markets as well. Early 2024, it was acquired by Ant International, a global provider of technology for digital payments and digitization. The acquisition makes MultiSafepay part of the Antom payment solution, which allows merchants in more than 50 countries to serve consumers in more than 200 markets.
Over 20,000 customers
According to MultiSafepay, the number of customers has increased 11 percent since July 2024, when the acquisition was finalized. In total, the company now serves more than 20,000 SMEs in Europe. In addition, transaction volume grew 44 percent year-on-year (YOY).
