Ecommerce giant Temu has announced a partnership with Correos, the national postal service of Spain. As a result, sellers in Spain can take advantage of fulfillment solutions. Consumers will get more delivery options.

Online marketplace Temu has been active in Europe for a while now and growing rapidly. In may European ecommerce markets, it has reached a large share of the market. Last year, Temu invited European merchants to register as sellers on the platform.

And earlier this year, Temu started using local warehouses in Europe. There, products from Chinese and Europese sellers are stored. This ensures quicker deliveries to consumers. Eventually, the online marketplace wants to process up to 80 percent of its European sales through local warehouses.

More service options

In another effort to facilitate sales in Spain, Temu is now partnering with Correos. According to the companies, the partnership will optimize fulfillment solutions which will speed up deliveries. Thanks to the extensive distribution network of Correos, service options will also be added. Consumers can then pick up packages at times of their convenience.

The move is a way to adapt to local market needs

The coverage of this partnership will extend to the Canary and Balearic Island, as well as Ceuta and Melilla. For Temu, this move is a way to adapt to local market needs.

‘Better customer experience with reliable delivery’

“Temu’s mission is to make quality products affordable to more consumers globally. By partnering with Correos, we are elevating our commitment to providing a superior customer experience through reliable and efficient delivery services”, a Temu spokesperson said.
