We’re re-organising things around here. When we launched FiveFilters.org in 2009, our mission was clear: promoting independent journalism and helping expose propaganda in corporate media. Over the years, we’ve also developed powerful software tools that make it easier to access, extract, and convert web articles.

While our software tools were initially created to support our mission, they’ve grown into a standalone suite of products with their own dedicated user base. Many people come to us purely for our technical solutions, but FiveFilters.org’s dual focus often causes confusion.

To address this, we’re making an important change: FiveFilters.org will return to its roots, focusing on media activism, propaganda awareness, and supporting independent media sites. Meanwhile, our software tools will move to Mochi.is, operated by our new company, Mochi Digital AB.

Rest assured, this is purely an organizational change. The same developer team will continue to develop and maintain the software you rely on, and you won’t need to take any action. The only difference you’ll notice is gradually seeing Mochi.is and Mochi Digital AB replacing FiveFilters.org in our software products and documentation.

We’re grateful for your continued support as we make this transition. If you have any questions about this change, please reach out to us at [email protected].
