Online marketplace integrator ChannelEngine has expanded its partnership with Monta, a Dutch fulfillment provider. The fulfillment solution is now integrated with ChannelEngine’s platform, which means that online sellers can manage marketplace and fulfillment processes in one single ecosystem.

ChannelEngine is an online marketplace integrator based in the Netherlands. It connects brands and online sellers to more than 1,300 marketplaces over the world, as well as social commerce platforms. Last month, it launched a new capability to enhance retailer visibility in AI-driven environments.

Dutch fulfillment company Monta has been active since 1999. It provides software-based fulfillment services and warehouse management software for around 3,000 online stores. Last year, it opened a warehouse in France, which marked an expansion into the company’s fifth European market.

This week, the companies announced that they are expanding their partnership. Brands can now combine marketplace connectivity with scalable, local fulfillment, which is integrated and powered by Monta. This makes cross-border operations easier, while also accelerating growth on marketplaces for online sellers.

Single ecosystem

Instead of having to manage activities with multiple partners, sellers can now access their marketplace activities and fulfillment processes in one single ecosystem. ChannelEngine’s software gives them insight into product data, listings, order management, storage, picking, packing and shipping.

According to the companies, the partnership helps brands to better serve customers across key European markets, which include the Netherlands, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. “We see a growing demand from brands to not only sell across borders, but also to deliver locally with speed and reliability”, said Gert-Jan van den Assem, Commercial Director at Monta.
