New Tools for Merchants
PixPix launches AI video editing feature. PixPix, an AI tool for ecommerce and content marketing, has launched capabilities to create product videos faster and at lower cost. With the feature, teams can reference an existing video and recreate its camera style, visual atmosphere, composition, and pacing while replacing the product with their own. Use cases are short-form product videos for advertising, social media content, product pages, and campaign testing.

Shift4 launches cross-border POS payment platform. Shift4, a payment processing and commerce technology provider, has launched One, a point-of-sale platform combining payments, currency conversion, and tax-free shopping into a handheld device. Global Blue, acquired by Shift4, provides the tax-free shopping component. Launched in the U.K., Ireland, Spain, and Germany, Shift4 One is expanding across Europe, targeting 15 countries by year-end.
Fleek raises $25 million to bring AI to its secondhand fashion marketplace. Fleek, a London-based secondhand fashion company, has secured $25 million in its latest funding round. Burda Principal Investments, which had also backed recommerce giant Vinted, led the investment with participation from eBay, FJ Labs, and H14. Fleek’s AI-powered platform includes Sort, a custom model trained on millions of transactions from the company’s marketplace.
Vmake Labs launches Brainrot Marketing video styles for small businesses. Vmake Labs, a social video studio, has launched Brainrot Marketing to turn ordinary product photos into social videos. Brainrot-style videos are short, loud, chaotic, surreal, and weird, according to Vmake. Users can upload a single product image, choose a Brainrot-inspired style, and generate a ready-to-post marketing video in seconds.

Klaviyo adds social marketing to its CRM tool. Klaviyo, the email, SMS, and CRM platform, has launched a feature to connect siloed social media engagement to omnichannel marketing strategies. According to Klaviyo, the new capability (i) turns followers into subscribers through social auto-replies that collect email, text, and WhatsApp consent and first-party data, and (ii) captures social interactions, content, and engagement signals to build more relevant audiences.
MyCommunityToday launches Deal Chief, an AI-powered sales agent for local businesses. MyCommunityToday, a marketplace and platform that connects neighborhood businesses and consumers, has launched Deal Chief, an AI-powered sales agent that generates leads and promotes deals. MyCommunityToday operates as a local marketplace, providing neighborhood businesses with an online presence for their products, services, deals, and coupons.
Kintsugi integrates with Shopline to help merchants with sales tax compliance. Shopline, a global commerce platform, has announced a native integration with Kintsugi, a platform to automate sales tax, value-added tax, and goods and services tax. According to Shopline, the integration gives its merchants access to a more complete tax compliance workflow, combining accurate calculation at checkout with real-time nexus monitoring, country, state, and local registrations, and automated filing.

Payfuture integrates with Shopify in India. Payfuture, a London-based fintech, has integrated with Shopify to provide merchants with access to India-based payment methods, including Unified Payments Interface and NetBanking. The integration builds on Payfuture’s broader strategy to deliver local payment connectivity through ecommerce platforms.
Wix and Elavon launch unified commerce solutions for small businesses. Elavon, a global payment processing company and subsidiary of U.S. Bank, and Wix have announced a partnership. The collaboration will combine Elavon’s tools with Wix’s commerce offerings to streamline online and in-person sales, bookings, inventory, real-time analytics, and more.
Akeneo releases agentic product data platform. Akeneo, a product data provider, has introduced Agentic Ziggy, enabling users to manage AI agents that enrich, govern, and orchestrate data across the entire product life cycle. Product data teams can deploy Agentic Zippy for modeling, schema mapping, and data enrichment.

Robust AI and ShipLab deploy warehouse robots. Robust AI, a provider of warehouse automation, has partnered with ShipLab, a San Diego-area ecommerce fulfillment and logistics firm, to deploy mobile robots at ShipLab’s Vista, California, facility. The deployment will initially automate tote transport between fulfillment and packing stations. It will then expand to a fleet of robots across the entire picking operation.
Eaton Hudson launches ecommerce liquidation platform. Eaton Hudson, an asset valuation, disposition, and capital advisory firm, has launched its E-Commerce Liquidation Division, a recovery platform to help retailers and brands maximize value from excess inventory, customer returns, warehouse assets, and distressed ecommerce merchandise. Eaton Hudson states that the launch expands its recovery and advisory services.
Amazon’s Seller University is now available for everyone. Seller University, Amazon’s free education resource, is now available to everyone — no selling account required. Users can explore a variety of on-demand educational content. The content spans all experience levels, from beginners to established sellers, and includes videos and downloadable guides on topics such as listings, pricing, fulfillment, and advertising.
