Yesterday, the winners of the prestigious Shopping Awards were announced, in the Netherlands. It was the 25th edition. Kaartje2go won the ‘DHL Best Online Store of the Year’ award, making it the overall winner of the evening.
The Shopping Awards is one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies for online stores in the Netherlands. The are 29 categories in the people’s choice awards section, as well as jury awards. There is also a list of the fastest growing online stores in the Netherlands, and the award for the best online retailer of the year. The latter is the most prestigious award of the evening.
Kaartje2go wins DHL Best Online Store of the Year award

Kaartje2go is an online store that sells personalized postcards. In 2022, it also won the award for the best online store of the year. Since then, Welkoop and Picnic won that award. But this year, it was Kaartje2go’s turn again.
Jury awards
The five trade award winners were chosen by a professional jury, based on motivation and presentation of the nominees. The awards focus on a specific theme or discipline within ecommerce, and according to the jury, the winners excel in that area.

Mollie E-commerce Manager of the Year
The jury, as well as the public, also chose this year’s Mollie E-commerce Manager of the Year. Mariëlle Velthoven won this year, who is the ecommerce manager at Q-Park. “The jury commends Velthoven’s ability to embed digital innovation in a traditional environment. With a collaborative approach, she brings teams together and puts the customer first. This combination makes her the well-deserved winner of this award,” said the expert jury.
